Gebruik van Forum leek me logisch voor bespreken van aanpassingen User Interface.
Maar bij binnengaan van een Community is niet te zien dat er activiteit is in het Forum. Via e-mail verwacht ik wel melding van reacties te krijgen n.a.v. de posting.
Eigenlijk is een posting van Inhoud / Bericht al de basisfunctionaliteit voor discussies als in een Forum. Niet alleen nadenken over aanpassen van de zichtbaarheid van Forum-activiteit, maar ook als reële optie meenemen de Forum optie te laten vervallen.

Ik heb je nieuwsbericht even geplaatst in het forum. Dit is inderdaad de meest aangewezen plek om te discussiëren binnen de gebruikerscommunity.
Je kunt je abonneren op een onderwerp in het forum, dan krijg automatisch een e-mail als er een antwoord komt.
Deze zin begrijp ik niet helemaal: “Niet alleen nadenken over aanpassen van de zichtbaarheid van Forum-activiteit, maar ook als reële optie meenemen de Forum optie te laten vervallen.” Wat bedoel je hiermee?

ik bedoelde ik het aanpassen van webtool code van de Forum functionaliteit om activiteiten in het Forum zichtbaar te maken een mogelijkheid is (maar geeft extra werk om de code te maken & testen), maar ook het weglaten van de Forum functionaliteit is een (theoretische) optie.
Inmiddels heb ik gezien dat ik als beheerder van een Community ook mag kiezen om ja/nee een Forum te hebben.
Om alle communicatie via Berichten te laten lopen is dus al ingebouwd.
Als beheerder kun je inderdaad ervoor kiezen om een forum, of niet, onderdeel te laten zijn van je community.
Communicatie via Berichten blijft inderdaad mogelijk.
